Shinfield Studios - Thames Valley Science Park
Shinfield has six newly built sound stages with another 12 in development. Three more stages will be complete by Summer 2023 and a further four by Autumn 2023. The entire 18 stage studio site will be complete by 2024.
All stages are built with film and tv production needs in mind – large, flexible spaces with excellent height and lighting gantrys and all the equipment you would expect in newly created stages. All stages are located close to new workshops, providing adequate workspace.
Mary Ward - Stratford - London
The proposed works entail extensive structural alterations to the existing frame with new extensions to increase the overall gross internal area to provide additional third and fourth floors. The proposals include complete new facades to all elevations, a new feature metal staircase within an open atrium from ground to fourth floor with two passenger lifts serving all floors. The interior fit out will include exposing the existing and new structural elements where possible.
Covent Garden
The proposed works include the refurbishment of Floral Street, which will feature a Living Wall system, glazed green terracotta tiles, and glass balustrades. We are installing a Plant Room enclosure, consisting of acoustic louvres and panels. Additionally, we are regenerating the terraced area on the roof using interlocking cassette panels, reconstituted stone, and a brise soleil system. All the existing aluminium cladding and subframe around the entire development will be replaced. Furthermore, we will replace all the IGUs throughout the entire project and apply a new acrylic paint coating to all the existing window frames.
St John’s Lane
The works to 14 St John’s Lane consist of upgrading the existing curtain walling and windows and establishing new ground floor entrances. We will be installing Zinc cladding to level four and Aluminium cladding to level five. An Aluminium plant screen will be installed to the roof area, with new waterproofing system to all areas, with various finishes from paving to green roofing.
